ALSA Launches Legal Clinic, Inaugurates International Facilitator

The African Law Students’ Association launched its ALSA Law Clinic Department was Launched on the 4th September, 2021 to contribute to legal education, provide free legal support services to the less privileged on the continent and promote social responsibility of law students and young lawyers.   Fundamentally, the organizers of the launching of the Law Clinic Department of the African Law Students’ Association wish to specifically express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to their facilitators and speakers who have participated in the launching program via Zoom.   The participants and Legal Clinicians who were launched today have greatly expressed their delight and readiness to discharge their responsibilities accordingly for the betterment of our generation and generation unborn; particularly to the victims of Human Rights Violation and Less Privilege People in the society by offering free legal services.   Moreover, let it be on record, and on the pages of history that the Law Clinic Department of the African Law Student’s Association was launched will stop at nothing to achieve its noble objectives.   In addendum, the program has received the pleasure of many Legal Clinicians across Africa and beyond who have witnessed the event; among which are: Barrister Charles Chukwunonso, founder of the Association; Barrister Atiku M. Jafar, Chairman of the ALSA International Advisory Board; Barrister Usman Lukman Nuhu who was the Guest of Honor at the event; Barrister. Dr. Nana Charles from Cameroon; Barrister. Hadidja Ibrahim Esq from Cameroon; Barrister. M.A. Agugua from Nigeria; Assistant Professor Kulwinder Singh Gill Esq from India; Barrister FRU Shella Esq from Cameroon and Mr. Vincent Eyong from the Federal High Court of Justice in Nigeria was also in attendance along other top dignitaries.   On a final note,the organizers were very much appreciative of the presence of all participants including its Campus Ambassadors who were able to join from different parts of Africa.
