Let’s See More About ALSA

The premier body for Africa’s law students and young lawyers

Chapters/Membership

We establish ALSA chapters in law schools. we also have a national body that coordinates the ALSA chapters in different schools and locations. This is done through an elected executive body, whom are charged with facilitating the school chapters and the local chapters.

Annual ALSA conference

ALSA conference is an annual event that bring together law students across Africa to discuss the development in Africa’s legal education and the conference also serves as avenue for students to network between themselves on present and future engagements, relating to global legal development.

Moot and Mock Competitions

We provide platforms for members to compete in local and international moot and mock competitions, so as to get them acquainted with court environments and proceedings. The ALSA Moot Court Competition is annually done during the ALSA annual conference.

The association activities are really helping the law scholars to be competent in the field by imparting them with advocacy skills i.e. oral and research skills.
