The African Law Students’ Association (ALSA) is pleased to formally announce the successful candidates who have been approved to appear on the ballot for the forthcoming International Council Elections.
This election cycle recorded an overwhelming number of applications from highly qualified and committed African law students across our network. The interview stage was rigorous and competitive, reflecting the depth of leadership potential within the Association.
Following a careful and merit-based evaluation process, the Elections Committee has confirmed the candidates who distinguished themselves through clarity of vision, demonstrated competence, preparedness, and commitment to advancing ALSA’s mission.
We congratulate all approved candidates on reaching this important milestone in the electoral process.
The next stage will be the Manifesto Reading Session, which will be conducted via Zoom and broadcast across ALSA’s official media platforms to ensure transparency, accessibility, and engagement with members across jurisdictions. Further details regarding the schedule and presentation guidelines will be communicated in due course.
We encourage all candidates to maintain the professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication demonstrated throughout the screening process as they prepare to present their vision to the wider ALSA community.
ALSA remains committed to a transparent, inclusive, and credible electoral process that strengthens institutional leadership and continental representation.
